Volunteer Opportunities....

The Museum's volunteers perform a wide-range of tasks, depending on their own special skills and interests. Their time commitment ranges from periodically giving a couple of hours to help with a special event to spending several hours each week at the Museum. Each volunteer brings something unique to The History Museum, something that helps it grow and develop.

There are a variety of volunteer positions currently available at The History Museum. With an exciting year of exhibits, programs and special projects ahead of us, we have a number of possibilities for motivated, dedicated volunteers. Currently there are immediate openings for docents. These volunteers serve as tour guides for groups of all ages who visit the Museum. If you like to work with people and enjoy exploring the area's past, this is the job for you!
